Welcome to Metro Dance Company! We are the premier dance and music school in the Plymouth, Canton, Livonia, Northville area and are committed to providing safe and quality instruction to children and adults of all ages and skill levels. It is our goal to provide an environment for students that will challenge their growth both artistically and physically. Students will take with them not only the steps that they have acquired, but also the self-confidence and discipline necessary to succeed in everyday life.

Beginning students of all ages are welcome for both music and dance classes. Our studio offers beginning youth, beginning teen and beginning adult dance classes and private piano, guitar and voice lessons are ideal for all skill levels.

Our professional dance floor absorbs the shock and impact of regular dance movement benefiting students by reducing fatigue and preventing injury that can result from dancing on standard hard dance surfaces such as concrete and tile floors.
4. Combo Dance Classes
Our Combo dance classes for ages 2 1/2 - 5 are the foundation of our dance curriculum where children are given a fun introduction to the basics of dance and movement. Combo classes foster creativity, freedom and expression in movement, and a love for dance while teaching sharing, taking turns, waiting in line, and socializing and cooperating with classmates. These classes provide a solid foundation for students to thrive in all styles of dance and is a combination of Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Acro.
5. Recitals, Exams and Competitions
Students are given performance experience in oyear-end dance and ecitals. Students also have the option to participate in festivals, competitions, conventions and exams.
